Fahares for Investments to offer Pearl of the Dead Sea project for tender next week
By Jafar Aloqaily Amman-based Fahares for Investments will announce next week a tender to choose four or five companies to construct the Pearl of the Dead Sea project, a senior official told Zawya.Fahares has received approval from the Development and Free Zones Commission (DZC) to start the project, which will cost USD 200 million, to be delivered five years from now, said vice chairman Qasim Irshaid.
The project, announced in April 2012, will include 96 three-star hotel rooms, and 136 five-star hotel rooms, on 35,650 square meters of land. It also has 140 residential units and is expected to create 1,000 job opportunities Irshaid said.
