Etisalat's chairman Mohammad Omran receives the best global telecom leadership award at the 6th TMT Finance 2012 Awards

Dubai, 3 May 2012: Etisalat chairman HE Mohammad Omran received the award for global leadership in the telecommunications sector at the 6th annual Middle East TMT Finance and Investment conference which was held in Dubai on 2-3 May 2012.
The conference attracts an international audience of telecommunications, technology and media leaders, as well as government and financial institutions, to discuss investment strategies and growth opportunities at the regional and international levels.
The TMT awards honour those business leaders and companies that have positively influenced the development of the telecommunications sector. Mohammad Omran was recognized for his vision of leading the Etisalat Group to become one of the world's leading telecommunications companies with a market value of AED 80 billion and serving 169 million customers in17 markets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
