MILAN, March 4 (Reuters) - Production at the Mellitah complex in Libya has restarted, a spokesman for Italian oil and gas group Eni
"We confirm the restarting of the Mellitah plant," the company said. A spokesman added that this meant production had restarted.
Mellitah, operated by Libya's National Oil Corporation and Eni, supplies Italy with gas through the Greenstream pipeline, which ends at the Sicilian port town of Gela.
The venture between NOC and Eni had to fully stop gas production and curb oil output after clashes between local militias over the weekend.
