Elite Jets signs agreement with Gulfjet for the first UAE sale of the Raytheon Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft
4 April 2007 Dubai, UAE: A private investor has become the first UAE owner of a Raytheon Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft, which will be managed and operated by GulfJet, an executive flight service provider, out of Dubai International Airport. The sale was completed by Dubai-based Elite Jets, the aircraft manufacturer's exclusive distributor for the UAE.
The 9-seater Beechcraft King Air 350ER is the flagship model in the King Air range, offering the largest and most luxurious cabin, advanced avionics and enhanced fuel efficiency. The aircraft has a maximum air speed of 359mph and a maximum operating ceiling of 35,000 feet. With a range of 2300 nautical miles and 7 hrs of non-stop flying, this turbo-prop offers near-jet performance
Elite Jets Director of Aircraft Sales, Allan Stanton, comments: "The Beechcraft King Air 350ER offers near-jet performance and very high levels of comfort, combined with outstanding efficiency, which makes the aircraft very good value. Elite Jets is delighted to have completed this sale - our second aircraft sale this year - which is the first for a Beechcraft King Air in the UAE."
GulfJet, the executive flight service provider established in Dubai in 2005, will manage and operate the King Air on behalf of the owner. Yousef Al Ghareeb, Managing Director of GulfJet, adds: "The Beechcraft King Air 350ER is a welcome addition to our fleet and is the first Beechcraft aircraft to join our existing mixed fleet of business jets. The King Air offers a new dimension to customers looking for real versatility and increased value, whilst fitting with our overall mission to offer luxurious private travel services to our VIP clientele, with all the benefits of safety, comfort, convenience and privacy. The King Air's outstanding performance and its range will allow non-stop flights to major destinations; like Cairo, Amman, Yerevan, Iraq, Tehran, Lahore and Maldives, making it the most cost-effective than any aircraft in its class."
