BAGHDAD: Parliamentary Financial Commission stressed that the Egyptian government has no legal documents on its workers' debts.
MP Ameen Hadi Abbas, in a press statement, stated that the Egyptian side should submit official documents to prove its debts.
He added that his Commission recommended Iraqi foreign ministry to conduct new talks to keep "good" relations, pointing that the Egyptian government froze Iraqi assets after 2003.
Iraqi financial ministry announced, earlier, that it finalized what is called "the yellow transfers" related to the Egyptian workers in Iraq, but, despite that, the talks continued between the two sides.© Aswat Aliraq 2013
