1008 GMT [Zawya Dow Jones]--Developers Emaar Properties and Nakheel are expected to continue their focus on income generating assets as Dubai's real estate market matures and deliveries slow, says CBRE. "Emaar has enjoyed higher apartment sales in the first half of the year due to the launch of their Panorama at the Views project, but overall we expect to see larger developers focus efforts on income generating assets and on developing their communities further in order to derive new revenue streams going forward," says Matthew Green, Head of Research at CBRE. "Emaar and Nakheel have both announced recent expansion plans for major retail centres such as Dubai Mall, Dragon Mart and Ibn Battuta, a reflection of the current market confidence and in the perceived sector strength moving forward."
