Dr. Mohamed Bin Ibrahim Al-Swail, President of King Abdulaziz City for Sciences and Technology, has launched today the e-Government booth at GITEX 2012, which includes 10 different government agencies that present their e-Services.
This came in parallel with opening Saudi GITEX exhibition 2012 on behalf of Eng. Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmad Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
The booth that has been organized by the e-Government Program "Yesser" under the auspices of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The booth includes Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Higher Education, Education, Commerce and Industry, Labour, Civil Service, Culture and Information, and Ministry of Social Affairs in addition to Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and Saudi Post.
The booth has been launched within the MCIT's efforts represented by Yesser Program to increase awareness about e-Government in Saudi Arabia. The launch was attended by Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Orainy, MCIT Minister's consultant, head of the exhibition coordination committee and Eng. Ali Bin Saleh Al-Soma, Director General of Yesser Program in addition to other representatives from participating government agencies.
