Cairo: KidZania® Cairo recently joined forces with Dorra Group, adding yet another marketing partner to its list of sponsors. The partnership agreement signed between the two parties gives Dorra Group exclusive sponsorship rights to The Construction Training Site at KidZania® Cairo. Accordingly; Dorra Group will offer its extensive experience in the field of construction and engineering in a fun, interactive and educational manner to KidZania® children where they will experience the day-to-day work activities of a Construction Worker.
KidZania® Cairo Governor, Mr. Tarek Zidan, expressed his delight in teaming up with Dorra Group, "Through this partnership, KidZania® young visitors will be offered the opportunity to live a unique experience in the world of civil constructions. They will take on all major tasks of a construction worker in a safe, authentic and educational environment."
"KidZania is a concept that fosters the values of work and independence among kids. The kids' experience in any KidZania city gives them a glimpse of the real grown-up world helping them understand the different professions and their importance" added Mr. Zidan.
Mr. Omar Dorra, Managing Director of Dorra Group, said that "KidZania's unique edutainment concept encouraged them to venture in the sponsorship opportunity". He highlighted the profound long-term educational benefits KidZania will bring to Egyptian children.
"Dorra Group will sponsor The Construction Training Site at KidZania® Cairo offering children the opportunity to work as construction workers thus helping them to broaden their awareness of the various professions in society, and carving their future dreams" added Mr. Dorra.
Industry partners/sponsors provide realism to the KidZania® concept by branding each establishment inside KidZania® with products, processes, and technologies.
KidZania® is an edutainment center that provides children and their parents a safe, unique, and very realistic educational and entertaining environment that allows kids between the ages of four to fourteen to do what comes naturally to them: role-playing by mimicking traditionally adult activities. As in the real world, children perform jobs and are either paid for their work (as a fireman, doctor, police officer, journalist, shopkeeper, etc.) or pay to shop or to be certified or entertained. The indoor theme park is a city built-to-scale for children, complete with buildings, streets, bridges, vehicles, a functioning economy, and recognizable destinations in the form of establishments, sponsored and branded by leading multi-national and local brands.
