Doha Bank has tied up with Qatar Duty Free on an "exclusive" two-month promotion, where QR40,000 worth of shopping vouchers will be given away as prizes to the former's Dream Card holders, reports Gulf Times.Eight cardholders who shop at Qatar Duty Free in July and August stand to win QR5,000 worth of shopping vouchers. At the end of each month, four winners will be picked by a lucky draw.
"We are happy to team up with Doha Bank in offering its customers an exclusive promotion, which no other duty free is offering, in addition to the cash back. We have recently added new and exciting brands in perfumes, watches and fashion and confectionery categories besides the already fast selling product lines available."
Doha Bank Dream Card holders will also be able to take advantage of the cash back offer, when they use their credit card to purchase our ever popular luxury car and $1mn cash raffle draws as well" said Qatar Duty Free senior vice president Keith Hunter.
"We believe this cash back promotion in addition to a chance to win QR5,000 of Qatar Duty Free shopping vouchers will be an extremely attractive offer for Dream Card holders. We have also added some exciting promotions at Qatar Duty Free on various categories for customers to choose from" added Hunter.
For Dream Card holders this will be in addition to the '25% cash back' they will get while shopping at Qatar Duty Free or any other duty free shop in the world.
Doha Bank said, "This exciting reward package is the first of its kind in Qatar and the entire region and is being offered to all potential new Dream, Green and Dream Platinum card members and existing card members.
The cash back will be credited to the card members' accounts at the end of the promotion.
This means that card members will be getting 25% discount on all travel related purchases - airlines, tickets on any airline company, holiday packages, hotels and motels, car rentals, and duty free.
The Dream Cards have an attractive 'free-for-life' or 'no annual charges' feature. Also, the 'Dream Points' feature allows for 'free shopping' in Qatar.
All card members, new and existing, who spend during the promotion will be rewarded with one chance to enter a raffle draw to win a trip around the world (valued at QR50,000) for every QR500 spent.
New Dream/Green card applicants will also get a star number worth up to QR1,000 with every new Dream Card and a free Vodafone 'Star number' worth QR5,000 with every new Dream Platinum card, which they can redeem by visiting a Vodafone store.
All card members, new and existing, who use their Dream Cards during the promotion, will also have the option of being rewarded with an affordable equated 12 monthly instalment plan where the value is re-installed again in the customer's card limit.
