MUSCAT - Dhofar Beverages Foodstuff will shortly commence the successful erection, commissioning, start-up and trial production of its new water plant in Dhofar Governorate. Capacity will now be boosted to 4 million cartons per year.

"This achievement was made possible due to the prudent guidance of the company board and the keen observation of the local and GCC market trends over table water demand," the company said in a notification to the Capital Market Authority.

The company has also invested around RO 171,300 in the establishment of a storage facility to install is new PET line machinery. "We also declare that to maintain the quality of the concentrated juice items, we have constructed a new freezer room worth about RO 33,470 with a capacity to hold four huge containers of concentrated juice.

The new PET water line is due to be launched next month.
