Dubai, UAE, May 1st 2012: DUBAILAND, a Dubai Properties Group Destination, today announced that it will open up some of its most beautiful areas in order to host an array of desert experiences in conjunction with tourist authorities and tour operators.

A 70 million square feet section of DUBAILAND has been exclusively designated to host a number of eco-friendly desert experiences. Ideally located just off the Lebab and Al Qudra Roads, a short drive from Dubai, the easily accessible site will feature several authentic desert camps with a dedicated heritage area and traditional activities.

DUBAILAND, a growing leisure entertainment district already offers a wide range of sporting, shopping and leisure attractions to over 13 million visitors annually. This new initiative will reinforce DUBAILAND'S position as an important contributor to the Emirate's tourism industry.
