For three renewable years starting April 2013

Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has signed a contract with Mobil' Affiche Company to invest in and rent the advertising spaces on 3,500 vehicles for three renewable years starting April 2013 through May 2016.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ahmad Mohammad Al Hammadi, acting chief executive officer  of (DTC), and Mohammad Hanif Merchant, chairman of Mobil' Affiche.

"Dubai Taxi Corporation invited for a public bid to rent advertising spaces on some of its taxi vehicles and Mobil' Affiche won the bid because their offer met all the requirements, conditions and standards specified in the bid's stipulations. Therefore, they were granted the exclusive right to advertise on the vehicles," said Al Hammadi.

"According to this contract, the company will rent the commercial advertising spaces on the 3,500 taxis owned by the corporation other than the vehicles granted the licence by the RTA to operate taxis," he added.

Al Hammadi stressed that this contract has been designated for one entity that will be in charge of the commercial advertisements on the private vehicles owned by the corporation, stating that there is a huge demand for this kind of advertisements by different public and private parties since taxis move throughout the UAE.

The Mobil' Affiche chairman expressed his happiness to win this bid and work with the Dubai Taxi Corporation.
