Chairman demands list of employees; their qualifications
KUWAIT CITY: Civil Service Commission (CSC) is planning to recruit citizens of Kuwait for all job openings in the country particularly at ministries and government agencies, reports Al-Horriya daily quoting reliable sources.
They stressed that the posts on top priority for the implementation of this decision are in the field of engineering, medicine and pharmacy, environmental protection, teaching, social and psychological services, meteorological and navigation research and so on.
They revealed that the Chairman of CSC Abdulaziz Al-Za'aben demanded all ministries to provide a list of their Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees, their academic qualifications, and job functions, adding that he also asked for the list of the non-Kuwaiti employees working for the 16 job functions specified in decree 13/2007 issued by CSC.
They further revealed that he demanded each governmental agency to provide details of the number of Kuwaiti employees and expatriates working as laborers in fields of carpentry, tailoring, lubricating, tire work, and so on.
