CGC partners with Microsoft to bring consumer hardware and software to Qatar
Consolidated Gulf Co. ( CGC ), leading technology and engineering solutions and service provider in Qatar, has joined forces with Microsoft and Techmart to offer consumer IT software and hardware products across the country. Microsoft Office 2010 and Windows 7 are among the products that will be made available.
CGC hosted Microsoft representatives at its corporate office in Doha recently to cement the partnership and exploring further business scope with Microsoft and its UAE's partner Techmart.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC , said, "We conducted an in-depth research on the availability of consumer electronics and IT products in Qatar, and found there was no existing system that came even close to being able to provide sufficient high-tech requirements that ensure fast delivery of latest products and at the same time maintain all its properties as required by our diverse customer base.
