New Zealand chain adds a new dining option to the 30 food outlets available at MoE

Dubai, UAE, 22 July 2012: BurgerFuel, the renowned New Zealand brand specializing in burgers, opened its fifth flagship outlet at Mall of the Emirates (MoE) at glittering event attended by burger lovers of the UAE.

Located next to one of the UAE's busiest cinema complexes and the iconic Ski Dubai snow resort, the new outlet based on level one of the Food Court provides the ultimate burger experience to the visitors of the 223,000 square metre shopping mall.

Chris Mason, BurgerFuel Worldwide CEO International Markets, says: "We have been working closely with Al Khayat Investment (AKI) to study the UAE market and implement our expansion plan. Mall of the Emirates attracts over 30 million visitors and the mall hosts some fantastic F&B brands. We are glad to open our new outlet here because MoE and BurgerFuel share the same brand values and commitment."

The BurgerFuel chain operates under the slogan 'Engineering the Ultimate Burger'. BurgerFuel supplies its restaurants with "Halal" meat directly imported from farms in New Zealand to ensure uniform standards of service in all its outlets globally.

BurgerFuel has been brought to the UAE by Al Khayyat Investments (AKI), the pioneering UAE based company that represents more than 200 global brands in the MENA region.

The opening of the new BurgerFuel outlet at MoE comes two years after the New Zealand brand signed a partnership with AKI to open 15 restaurants in the UAE in less than five years.
