'BuildOman' directory to be published in first quarter
MUSCAT: Universal Press & Publishing (UPP), in association with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is preparing to publish 'BuildOman' a directory of construction, contracting and related industries, by first quarter of the year 2012.BuildOman directory will be portraying comprehensive details about Oman's construction and contracting and related industries including (but not limited to) engineering consultants and architects; building material manufacturers/fabricators/dealers/suppliers; construction equipment dealers/suppliers/leasing companies; interior decorators and wood works; furniture and furnishing; electricals and electronics; home appliances; real estate developers; finance and insurance institutions in Oman.
"Under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing uninterrupted boom in the construction, contracting and related industries. A comprehensive directory which gives the all inclusive information on these industries is the need of the hour to know about small, medium and large scale organisations in the country, involved in these segments," says Ali bin Abdullah Al Kasbi, chief editor and managing director of Universal Press & Publishing .
Bilingual format
"The directory will be published in bilingual format both in soft and hard copies. The initial print-run will be 10,000 copies using state-of-the-art printing technology. The directory will be freely circulated to the target audience through several national and international channels to have maximum mileages to the advertisers and participants," added Ali Kasbi.
