MANAMA (Petra) - Bahrain Telecommunications Company, Batelco Group, on Wednesday offered to take over the whole of Batelco Jordan by purchasing the remaining 20 per cent equity for JD2.13 million. A statement issued by the group said the offer's validity depends on approval from different concerned authorities in Jordan, including the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Umniah and Batelco Jordan's shareholders.
Batelco Group is the leading integrated communications provider in Bahrain and is an emerging force among the regions key telecommunications players.
