The Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation recently signed an agreement with Jump TV company to broadcast the Bahrain channel and Bahrain Sports channel on the Internet with high bandwidth.
The Director of the BRTC and Undersecretary of Foreign Media Affairs at the Ministry of Information, Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, said that the four-year agreement comes in line with the ministry's policies to broadcast the Bahraini media message throughout the world by making use of the modern technology.
Shaikh Khalifa said the international broadcasting agencies develop their technology regularly to make use of the Internet by protecting intellectual rights.
Jump TV is one of the world's largest broadcasting companies that include more than 120 television channels from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.
