With great success, Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA) has ended with its first property development exhibition BaPDEX 2012, the first exhibition of its kind in Bahrain dedicated to Bahraini Developers and Bahraini projects. BaPDEX 2012 was held at the Seef Mall from 24 to 30 May 2012 under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Exhibitors have expressed their extreme satisfaction with the outcomes and desires to have such an exhibition on a half yearly basis after the great feedback they got from customers and high percentage of sales they have sealed during BaPDEX 2012.
BaPDA has fulfilled its Promise to be a highly effective showcase for the property development industry; it gave participants and End users a unique opportunity to network and acquaints themselves with the latest projects and affordable housing developments.
Mr. Aaref Hejres, Chairman of the Board, said, "BaPDEX 2012 has been getting great feedback from property developers in Bahrain and Finance companies offering financial solutions, is a great forum for the industry providing an opportunity to gather on common ground and have an overview on all the latest updates and related information
Mr. Hejres has mentioned that so far the exhibitors in BaPDEX 2012 were up to 15 major Property companies in Bahrain like Manarah Development, Diyar Al Muharrq , Grnata Real Estate , Skana , Reef Real Estate finance Co. Pegasus, Impact Real Estate , Dair Gardens, Blue water investment, Orchid Development Saar Central and Bin Faqeeh and the number of interested participants has grown as the was demand was big , BaPDA had companies calling to participate even after the opening day. Which makes us eager to organize BaPDEX 2013.
As the leading non-profit organization representing the property development industry in the country, BaPDA has been dynamic in consistently putting forward initiatives to improve knowledge and professionalism, energizing the market in different ways so as to benefit the national economy and infrastructure, as well as all stakeholders. BaPDEX 2012 is seen as a unique opportunity for retailers and consumers to network and cooperate in a mutually rewarding exchange, while throwing the spotlight once again on Bahrain's well-deserved reputation as a business friendly and progressive nation. The Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA) is a non-profit organization established in 2010 with the vision of becoming the Kingdom of Bahrain's recognised property development association. It is a representative organisation that will foster infrastructure services, cooperation, fair trade practices and integrity among its members, while providing a platform for members to liaise with the government authorities in forming best practice policies relating to the industry.
At a meeting held to launch the organization and attended by 17 CEOs and senior management officials from major development companies in the Kingdom it was agreed unanimously on the need for such an organization that would serve to bring them together effectively to benefit the industry in Bahrain. A Board of Directors was elected with Mr. Aaref Hejres, CEO of DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ, as Chairman of the Board, Dr Hassan Al Bastaki of Manara Development, as Vice Chairman, Mr. Maher Al Shaer of GREDCO as the Treasurer and Mr. Tariq Al Jowder of Al Areen as Executive Secretary.
BaPDA has pledged to organize, sponsor, and participate, in regional and international meetings, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and general networking events to promote the property development industry of Bahrain. It has promised to honor the industry's commitment to the country and participate with all resources available, in the preservation of all aspects of Bahrain's infrastructural, social, cultural and environmental growth.
