DUBAI, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Global asset manager PineBridge Investments has appointed two senior executives for its Middle East unit, which is based in Bahrain, it said on Sunday.

Arun Kumar has been named chief operating officer of PineBridge Investments Middle East. He was previously the chief financial officer at Bahrain's sovereign fund Mumtalakat Holding Co.

The chief executive of Pinebridge Investments Middle East, Talal Al Zain, previously headed Mumtalakat. He left the $9 billion fund earlier this year. ID:nL6E8EL6JS

The company also announced the appointment of Janick Fierens as managing director, head of client service.

PineBridge Investments, which is controlled by Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li, manages around $69 billion in assets globally.
