SAUDI OKS BIN SAMMAR CONTRACTING MOVE INTO JOINT STOCK CO
Saudi Arabia's ministry of commerce and industry has given its approval to the local Bin Sammar Trading and Contracting Co. to convert into a closed joint stock company with a capital of 360 million Saudi riyals ($96 million).

QATAR FUEL PLANS LOCAL, OVERSEAS EXPANSION; OPENS QAR22M STATION
Qatar Fuel Co., or Woqod, an affiliate of state-owned Qatar Petroleum, is in talks with the local authorities to open a seaport in Al Shamal harbor and plans to expand its bitumen plant at Mesaieed. Woqod is also evaluating feasibility studies for some investment projects in Europe through medium or long-term joint ventures.
