Almuftah Group Managing Director Mr Ibrahim Almuftah and Alkhorayef Group Commercial Manager Mr Mohamed Alkhorayef sign a business deal for the introduction of Gulf Power generator sets into Qatar.
Doha, Qatar- March 31st, 2013: Almuftah Group, one of the country's most diverse and successful Group of companies, has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabian industrial firm Alkhorayef Group to be the exclusive importer and distributor of the latter's proprietary heavy duty generator setsinto the Qatari market.
The signing of the agreement also marked the founding of Almuftah Group's new division, Almuftah Technology, which will specialize in delivering these efficient and reliable power solutions to customers in Qatar.
The generator sets - marketed in Saudi Arabia under the brand name Gulf Power - combine the outstanding performance of industry-leading diesel engines from John Deere and Volvo Penta with the superior efficiency of alternators from Stamford. They are assembled by Alkhorayef Industries in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Riyadh city.
Almuftah Group Managing Director Ibrahim Almuftah welcomed the establishment of Almuftah Technology and hailed the partnership forged between Almuftah Group and Alkhorayef Group as an excellent platform upon which both companies can build further success in the future.

Since 1996, Gulf Power has been a brand of choice among many leading businesses in Saudi Arabia. Its line of generator sets can provide power capacities between 30 kVA to 750 kVA. Almuftah Technology will provide after sales service and original spare parts including manufacturing warranty.
The Gulf Power generator sets will be available in Qatar on April 15th, when Almuftah Technology's showroom in Barwa Village, Al Wakra, opens its doors to the public.
