DOHA: The Al Shaheen Well Services Company, in partnership with Weatherford Oil Tool (ME) Limited, will open its training center at the Qatar Petroleum (QP) training center building in Dukhan in two to three months’ time.

Mohammed Al Sayed, CEO of Al Shaheen Well Service Company, said they will be inviting Qatari professionals and students to learn about the new equipment that will be used in the country’s energy sector.

A Qatari training programme will be set up for them. Al Sayed said the training center will not only cater to Qataris, it will also be opened to some professionals in the energy sector.

“The Qatari programme will enhance the knowledge of the Qataris working in the energy sector,” Al Sayed said during the 1st Oil and Gas Technology Day held at the Four Seasons Hotel recently. Al Sayed said the extra training they will be giving will be focused on “building the Qatari managers of the oil industry for the future.
