Kuwait - Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) announces that Al Madina Finance and Investment Company reported that HITS (House of Integrated Technologies and Systems) an Africa Telecom company owned by Al Madina Company and other companies by 70 percent, has purchased 65 percent of Smart Telecom Company a telecom company in Congo for $62 million. Al Madina was established in 1980 under the name Modern Printing Press with a capital of KD 600,000 or $2,000,000. In Jan 2005, the company's name was changed to Al Madina Finance and Investment Company in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law Number 15 of 1960 and the succeeding amendments to the said law. The company was registered at the Central Bank of Kuwait as an Islamic investment company with a paid up capital of KD 15,000,000.

Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) announces that the Governing Council of Munshaat Real Estate Project Company (Munshaat) will meet on Wednesday, Dec 12, 2007 at 12:30 pm. , in order to discuss the annual financial statements of the company for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2007.
