Al Marfaa Contracting Company has been awarded a contract by Ajman Sewerage Private Company Limited (ASPCL) to increase the connection points in the emirate.

Almost 60 per cent of its customers have already been connected to the sewerage network, ASPCL announced yesterday.

The contractor will add new connection points to encompass more real estate units in Ajman.

The multi-phase project is set to be completed within a period of two years.

According to the contract, 300 additional connection points will be distributed across Al Nuaimia area in addition to other urban areas in the Emirate, adding significantly to the housing and commercial units already using the sewerage network.

Aisha Al Abdooli, Technical Service Manager at ASPCL, said: "Ajman Sewerage is committed to delivering best-in-class services to its customers and actively contributing to enhancing the Emirate's image.
