MUSCAT The German University of Technology (GUtech) has extended its admission for the Pre-University Programme until Wednesday, 16 February 2011. The next academic semester of the Pre-University Programme will start on Saturday, 19 February. "The German University of Technology in Oman welcomes applications from students who have earned high school leaving certificates from local or international schools. Applicants must meet GUtech's language and academic requirements for admission," said Professor Dr. Burkhard Rauhut, Rector of GUtech.
GUtech offers a Pre-University Programme for the following BSc programmes: Urban Planning and Architectural Design, Sustainable Tourism and Regional Management, Applied Geosciences, Applied Information Technology and BEng programmes: Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. All BSc and BEng programmes take four years.
The language of instruction at GUtech is English, German is taught as an additional foreign language. The GUtech Pre-University campus is located on the Beach Road in Athaiba.
Admission is open as well for direct entry into one of the BSc or BEng programmes in September 2011. Applicants can apply via email, fax and post.
