Amman, Jordan, 06 February 2012: Abdali Investment and Development PSC, the company responsible for the development of Abdali, the new downtown of Amman, has announced the appointment of Mr. George Amireh as its new CEO. The appointment follows the departure of Mr. Muhib Itani who ended his 2 year contract as the CEO of Abdali Investment and Development PSC.

Mr. George Amireh comes to Abdali with an impressive profile, where he was a natural choice for the role, having had an extensive background in engineering, management, and operations, and having managed large scale developments and projects throughout his career.

Commenting on his new appointment Mr. Amireh said: "I am pleased to be part of the leadership team in Abdali project that is managed by a team that has widespread experience, expertise, and a proven track record in both the project and real estate industry."

Prior to joining Abdali PSC, George W. Amireh held the position of Project Manager in Consolidated Contractors International Company, Cairo, Egypt. During his extensive career, George held various key positions within the company by leading and managing prominent projects within, such as; Sofitel Gezirah Renovations Project, Sheraton Heliopolis Extension Project, and Golden Pyramids Plaza Project (City Stars Heliopolis). Mr. Amireh holds a Degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan.
