DUBAI, 29th November, 2015 (WAM)--Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister, Ministry of Environment and Water, has honoured Khaled Al Awar, a student from Abu Dhabi?s Khalifa University, at the Ministry?s headquarters in Dubai, on designing the game, ?Abher,? a highly interactive game on fishing.

The minister expressed his pride over the nation's young generation of thinkers--creating and developing new ideas for various fields of endeavor. He stressed on the importance of broadening the opportunities for these individuals and giving them a chance to explore their creativity--which is considered as an important foundation in the move to achieve excellence and help provide a better life for individuals and the whole of society.

In response, Al Awar thanked the minister and the Ministry of Environment and Water for their tribute, which he said would inspire young inventors like him to learn more and come up with more creative ideas.
