Irbid - Up to 384,000 voters have received ballot cards in the Irbid Governorate until Monday evening, according to civil status department director in the northern region Ali Shakhatreh.
"The registration percentage in all districts (of the governorate) has hit 75 percent," he told Petra, adding that a new civil status office opened on Tuesday near Ramtha, bringing to 47 the overall number of offices registering local voters for parliamentary elections due to be held later this early.
A total of 640,000 people are eligible to vote in the Irbid Governorate.
