Damascus - The seventh Scientific Agricultural Research Conference starts Monday with the participation of researchers from all the research centers in Syria.
The conference aims at giving researchers the opportunity to put forth and discuss their researches at all centers and to learn about how to take part in scientific meetings.
The 3-day conference includes 75 researches covering most agricultural domains in Syria and discusses issues of developing agriculture, raising productivity, both in quality and quantity, as well as natural resources, horticulture, animal production, economic and social studies and food technology.
In the same context, Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) dedicated its annual Scientific Innovation Award 2009 for the agricultural field and the researches specialized in animal production and health and animal raising and feeding.
