US freezes $30bn of Tripoli assets

The US has frozen more than $30bn in Libyan government assets as European officials slapped their own sanctions on Muammer Gaddafi, the country's embattled leader.

Unrest in Libya and the other Arab countries appears to be instigated by the Western countries to keep for themselves the billions invested by the Arabs in the west. to bolster the troubled western economies.
