SEOUL, Feb. 14 (WAM) -- Daelim Industrial Co. , a leadingconstruction and engineering company of South Korea will constructthe world's biggest polycarbonate plant in Al Jubail, easternSaudi Arabia.
A company spokesman told reporters on Wednesday that it has received a US$1 billion order involving the design, purchasingand supervising of the construction of the plant from Saudi KayanPetrochemical Company which is 35 percent owned by Saudi Arabianstate-run SABIC. When completed by 2010, the plant will produce 260,000 tons ofpolycarbonate annually, making it the biggest producer in theworld, he said.
