Sultan bin Zayed receives Japanese Ambassador

Abu Dhabi, July 16th, 2006 (WAM)- General Sheikh Mohammed bin ZayedAl Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of theUAE Armed Forces, received today Hajime Tsujimoto, who bid him farewellat the end of his term as Japan's Ambassador to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed thanked the Ambassador for his efforts to boost friendshipties between the two countries, stressing that bilateral relations betweenthe UAE and Japan were steadily progressing in all areas. He wished theAmbassador success in his future assignments.

For his part, the Ambassador thanked the UAE leadership and Governmentofficials for the support and cooperation lent to him during his tenure.

He reaffirmed Japan's keenness on further consolidating its ties withthe UAE.

Present at the meeting were Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, SheikhTahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Amiri Flight, Sheikh Mohammedbin Bati Al hamed, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, SheikhAhmed bin Hamed, Special Presidential Advisor, Sheikh Hamdan bin MubarakAl Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan,Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Sheikhs, and senior governmentofficials.
