Mohammed bin Zayed Receives Tufts University Delegation
Abu Dhabi, Feb. 26th, 2006 (WAM) -- General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received this evening the visiting delegation of the U.S.Tufts University, headed by Fletcher International Law School Dean Steven Bosworth.
Welcoming the delegation, Sheikh Mohammed hoped their visit would strengthen ties between the UAE higher education institutions and Tufts University. He said the UAE higher education institutions were eager to benefit from the scientific, research and management experiences of world-class universities. Discussion also touched on means of creating basic framework for academic and scientific cooperation with Tufts University, and developing educational progrmmes in association with foreign educational institutions to help improve the quality of higher education in the country. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed bin Zayed, the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, Chairman of the Amiri Flight in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Under Secretary for the Ministry of Finance and Industry, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Works, Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Planning and Economy Department, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, sheikh Mansour bin Tahnoon, Dr. Hanif Hassan Ali, Minister of education, and a number of Government officials.Zawya Comment Policy
