Damascus - A specialized exhibition for uniform, held by Kameleon Company in cooperation with Damascus Chamber of Industry, opened on Saturday at al-Cham Hotel in Damascus.
The exhibition included tens of models of uniform for workers and employees in companies and economic, service, educational and health institutions in accordance with the international standards and qualifications.
"The uniform industry in Syria is a new industry that has all potentials for success given the remarkable progress the Syrian textile industries have achieved," said Badr al-Natour, Member of the Board of Damascus Chamber of Industry.
He stressed in a statement to journalists the importance of cooperation with textile companies of the public sector as a source for cotton, the raw material of the uniform industry, as well as in terms of providing those companies with their needs of uniform.
Mohammad Barjankji, Director of Kameleon Company, pointed out that there is a great demand on the Syrian uniform industry from a number of Arab countries, which he considers a big opportunity for the progress of this industry through signing contracts that help ensure its requirements.
