BAGHDAD: The Iraqi Industry Ministry granted 168 permissions for new industrial projects in August, 2010.

"The total investment value of the projects is around $30.254 million," said a release issued by the ministry on Wednesday as received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

It explained that the projects are related to food, textile, wood, paper, chemical, plastic, construction, and mineral industries.
