DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Kuwait's International Investor CoInternational Investor Co
. said Thursday its third-quarter net profit rose fivefold to 10 million Kuwaiti dinars ($36.1 million) compared with KWD2.2 million last year.
Net profit for the nine months ending Sept. 30 reached KWD15.8 million compared with KWD10.3 million in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a statement on the Kuwaiti bourse Web site.
Earnings per share were 7.2 fils in the third quarter compared with 5.4 fils in the same period in 2006.
