Saudi business mission explores Italian trade links

After a welcome address at Confindustria (Italian Chamber of Commerce), the Saudi delegation met with Paolo Zegna, vice president for international affairs, Confindustria, and representatives from various Italian companies at the headquarters of Assalombarda, the association of industrialists from the Milan province.
The 74 companies represented at Assalombarda are leaders in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
Federprogetti President Fabrizio Di Amato, SAGIA's Head of Europe Mai Al-Torki, Roedl & Partner Representative, Vice President of E&C Business Development Saipem Daslav Brkic, SABIC Country Leader Daniele Petrini and SSNET President Kamel Al-Munajed addressed the delegates.
Interactive working sessions were also held, allowing managing directors from Italian and Saudi companies to exchange views.
The delegates are also expected to visit the headquarters of Maire Technimont, an international player in engineering, main contracting and technology licensing, active in a variety of industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power, renewable energy and infrastructure.
The Saudi delegation comprises SIDCO CEO Mazen Y. Saleh, Al-Mojel Trading & Contracting Co. Managing Director Saad Ibrahim Al-Mojel, Al-Abdulkarim Holding Company CEO Khalid A. Al-Abdulkarim, Riadaa Group of Companies Chairman Mohammad Faisal Al-Sager, Al-Zahrani Holding Chairman Hassan Misfer Al-Zahrani, SAFA Azzam Group Manager Mohammad A. Azzam, Tamkeen Industrial & Trading CEO Bassim Ahmed Aljuhany and Fahad Al-Arjie Group CEO Fahad Khaled Al-Qahtani.
