The Family Office Holds Annual Global Asset Allocation Conference For First Time In Dubai

DUBAI - The Family Office Co. BSC (c) - the first significant multi-family office in the Arabian Gulf - held its Annual Global Asset Allocation (GAA) conference for the first time in Dubai following the recent establishment of a representative office at the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC).
Entitled "Creating Opportunity During Uncertainty", the 8th GAA conference, which was held at the Ritz Cartlton DIFC, addressed the issue of finding focus and clarity both in the current market tumult and in the coming years.
The event was attended by more than 200 people and saw keynote speakers, former US National Security Advisors, Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski and Gen. Brent Scowcroft, speak on the main debate topic "The Middle East in 2020".
Commenting on the event, The Family Office's Founder and CEO Abdulmohsin Al Omran said: "The world is becoming more complex and, at times of uncertainty, one has to have clarity and continuous access to knowledge in order to formulate a strategy.
"While you are trying to meet your goals, your minds are distracted by the day-to-day market movements and geo-political uncertainty. Unless you have a clear strategy and maintain focus, your goals will be difficult to meet."
Leading world thinkers, Dr. Brzezinski and Gen. Scowcroft, gave insights on the regional geo-political backdrop and the outlook for the global economy.
Dr. Brzezinksi said: "It was pleasure speaking at The Family Office's conference in Dubai. It gave me a unique opportunity to interact with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and interests.
