5000 Visitors and Participants were Present during Dubai DERMA 2011

Dubai - United Arab Emirates, April 21st 2011: Dubai World Dermatology and laser Conference and Exhibition - Dubai Derma 2011 concluded its last sessions today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre with more than 5,000 visitor and participants for the past three days.
The Dubai DERMA conference presented condensed and specialized workshops and lectures, the scientific program included different skin diseases suffered by millions of patients worldwide, and the top methods currently used for treatment, while doctors recognized the latest and motivated and modern equipment used for permanent hair removal and wrinkles. Specialized companies participating at the Dubai Derma thrived in showing their latest laser machines and skin care products, as well as the latest cosmetic and pharmaceutical products displayed by well known companies during the exhibition.
The third day topics revolved around Facial Dermatoses, Practical Guidelines for Biologic therapy in Psoriasis, What is new in Isotretinoin Side Effects and Warming, Hair Transplant, the Management of Acne, fractional Peeling.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Dubai Derma Scientific Committee met today where they had presented their gratitude to Dr. Ibrahim Galadari, Professor of Dermatology at the UAE University and Chairman of Dubai Derma Conference for his effort during the preparations of the scientific program. The committee also announced the recommendations for the Dubai DERMA conference and exhibitions as follows;
- Emphasizing the importance of the pre - sources that are being held before the Dubai DERMA conference and Exhibition due to the academic and scientific importance to the residents and to prepare them for the Mock Exam.
- Emphasizing the importance of the workshops due to their scientific and practical importance where participants will have hands on practice on the patients rather than just attend theoretical presentations and workshops.
- Emphasizing the importance of evaluating the speakers in order to evaluate their presentations and recommend them for further future conferences.
- Encouraging dermatologists and resident doctors to attend conferences, seminars and workshops related to dermatology, Venerealogy and Andrology as well as attending courses on cosmetics and laser therapy.
- Giving resident doctors the opportunity to present thesis papers while attending conferences to reinforce their confidence.
- Emphasizing the coordination and cooperation between Arabic dermatology associations during the Dubai International Dermatology conference which will be held in Seoul - South Korea next may in order to support the Arabic medical and scientific activities as well as electing the next location and chairman of the next edition.
Index Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. - member of INDEX Holding had also announced that the twelfth edition of the Dubai DERMA which will be held in March 2012. Mr. Abdul Salam Al Madani Executive Chairman of Dubai Derma Conference and Exhibition and President of INDEX Holding said "Dubai DERMA this year celebrates another year of extraordinary success, as it was enriched by world's top specialists and doctors who came to Dubai to participate in Dubai derma in particular".
Mr. AL Madani continued that "Dubai Derma is the perfect platform for all companies specialized in skin care to interact with other doctors and healthcare professionals looking for leading technological treatments for their patients and clients which in return will help us to establish our distribution network in the region."
All the exhibitors and participants at Dubai DERMA were content with the success of the conference and exhibition. International companies also garbed the opportunity to display their new products, machines, and cosmetics.
