As guests become more reliant on computer technology, and the expectation for a response to an urgent email becomes greater, there is a need for hotel's to become more responsive to the changing needs of the guests and to make the customer experience as seamless as possible.

At TAMANI Hotel Marina, the focus is on broadening the training of IT issues which are normally restricted to the IT manager.

TAMANI Hotel Marina has engaged on a special employee training course to upgrade the knowledge and expertise of key staff on issues relating to computers. Typically guests want to secure connectivity as the first thing they do when they arrive at their room. Often, a housekeeper or a room attendant is the most accessible person when the hotel guests first arrive. They are a natural choice to come to the rescue if a guest is having technology difficulties.

The TAMANI Hotel Marina, "Technology to Go," initiative is geared to providing general level associates with the skill sets and the confidence to assist struggling guests to solve IT internet access and proxy issues as an extension of the IT Concierge.

"Today's business traveler, needs to be able to be on line, this is the most critical issue for the guest, and often has a greater significance that the comfort of the hotel room,"  "We strive to ensure we are computer friendly and that, when required,  our guests secure assistance as quickly and efficiently as possible," commented Muin Serhan, General Manager, TAMANI Hotel Marina.

As technology evolves it is important that the training also evolves to ensure that Associates are equipped to answer the questions of the discerning hotel guest. It is not likely that computer technology will play a less significant role in our lives as we move forward, the commitment at TAMANI i is to create a culture of overcoming obstacles through training.

General Manager of TAMANI  Hotel Marina, said, " Our guests love it were our room attendants volunteer to assist them, our systems are simple, but guests really appreciate the added assistance of informed hotel associates especially when they are so well versed with the system and can secure a positive result so quickly with such confidence."

Getting on line should not be a headache, but with TAMANI's Technology to go, the symptoms are easily diagnosed and relief is close at hand.
