Jordan Hosts the 2010 ICMCI Annual Conference

Under the Patronage of Minister Fakhoury
Under the patronage of Minister of Public Sector Development and Minister of State for Mega-Projects Imad Fakhoury, the Kingdom hosts the annual conference of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes ICMCI slated 23 to 25 September.

The event, organized by the Institute of Management Consultants and Trainers IMC - Jordan, aims to handle the current global financial situation and the extent to which it affects the consulting sector.

IMC - Jordan Executive Director, Reema Nasser illustrated that the minister's participation supports the highly established professionalism of the consulting sector in Jordan.

Nasser highlighted the IMC-Jordan's efforts to support the global event that will be established with a mutual vision between ICMCI and IMC - Jordan, to upgrade the notion of management training and consulting in the region.

She added: "We have a great hope that the conference will achieve our desired objectives in laying the ground for shaping policies and strategies needed to develop the consulting and training sector in the region."

It is worth mentioning that IMC - Jordan is the only ICMCI member in the MENA region. They offer various activities, including qualifying and training programs, upgrading the management consulting and training professions, training of management consultants, define standards and regulations, and create a members database.
