University of Wollongong in Dubai wins 'Asia's Best B-School Leadership' award

Dubai, August 3, 2010: The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)Loading... has won the 'Best Business School Leadership' award at the Asia's Best B-School Awards presented by CMO Asia in association with the CMO Council as Strategic Partner and Stars of the Industry Group as research partner.

Dr. Arijit Sikdar, Acting Dean, Faculty of Business & Management, UOWDUOWDLoading..., accepted the award on behalf of the UOWDUOWDLoading... President, at the awards ceremony held recently at Suntec City, Singapore.

"The awards recognize the contribution being made by B-schools in shaping management thinking within Asia as the continent continues to grow in importance in global economic affairs. At UOWDUOWDLoading... we are proud of our achievement as a leader and role model in contributing towards the development and dissemination of management knowledge that is helping our graduates and their employers to compete on the global stage more effectively."

The Asia's Best B-School Awards are presented to individuals and institutions which have surpassed several levels of excellence and have set an example of being a role model providing exemplary leadership, building institutions through Leadership, Innovation, and Academic and Industry interface.

The CMO Asia Awards are first of its kind accolades for Organizations, Chief Marketing Officers, Professors from the Greatest B-Schools of Asia and HR Professional who have shown leadership in their respective fields combined with consistent innovation.

CMO Asia is dedicated to high level knowledge exchange through thought leadership and peer networking amongst decision makers across industry segments in Asia. The CMO Asia Awards are represented by 25 countries across Asia. The Event is organized for a professional cause to enable sharing of knowledge and experiences.
