Adil Relocates To Accommodate Growth
- Text size
Asset Development and Improvement Limited (ADIL), the independent consultancy providing development and operations management support to the energy industry, is relocating its Aberdeen Head Office to Rubislaw Terrace.
The move represents an investment of £400,000 and is part of a wider company drive to internationalise and grow its workforce. The new premises will also enable ADIL to work even more closely with a number of key clients located in Aberdeen's west end.
ADIL revenue has grown from £400,000 in 2006, to a projected revenue in excess of £6 million for 2010. This follows a number of recent contract wins with organisations including, Dana Petroleum, Taqa Bratani and Serica Energy, which will generate £10 million for the company over the next 18 months. ADIL is currently project managing several field developments with an associated total capital investment in excess of £1 billion.
ADIL, previously based in Regent Quay in Aberdeen, was launched in 2006 with five founding members, lead by 39-year-old James Paton, who was previously employed by Paladin Resources, and also worked with Amerada Hess, now Hess Corporation. Since then, the company has grown at a rapid pace, with a key appointment of John Moody as General Manager in March this year. ADIL now employs 45 personnel and plans to recruit a further 10 people before the end of 2010.
The business has defied expectations and, despite the economic downturn, has celebrated four years of growth.
Mr Paton, ADIL's Managing Director said: "Our new offices will enable further growth as we look to expand our geographic spread and service offering in the future. We are also ideally located to service our current client base."
