Hotel continues to appoint staff in preparation of Aug opening
Oryx Rotana- Doha, the new, ultra modern and luxurious 400-rooms and suites hotel set to open Aug 1st, 2010, unveiled their new management team

 A 25 year hospitality veteran in more than 13 different countries, Kevork Deldelian comes in the driving seat to lead this team as the General Manger of the first Rotana property to open in Qatar this summer. Deldelian brings to this landmark long and extensive operational and administrative skill. He began his career on an entry level in Food and Beverage department  and went on to hold various managerial positions across multiple IHG brands throughout the years including being the General Manager of  the opening team of Intercontinental   Al Ahsa in Saudi Arabia and Crowne Plaza Muscat - Oman and lately the Director General of Real Estate Portfolio and Hospitality Division of LK Finance Inc.- Canada before joining Rotana as The General Manager of Oryx Rotana the first Rotana to open in Doha- Qatar.

Ursula Chidiac has moved recently from the pre-opening team of City Centre Rotana Doha to Join Oryx Rotana team as Executive assistant Manager. Ursula began her career in UK at the Meridian Woldorf and has more than 13 years of experience in various hotel departments from F&B to House Keeping and HR

Lisa Tahabsem has been named Director of Marketing and Communications. Tahabsem has spent the past 6 years working with five star properties in Kuwait, most recently serving three years at Al Manshar Rotana Hotel Kuwait and brings with her over than 10 years of experience in public relations.

Dominique Jossi the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive chef Rainer Muller will be leading the Food and Beverage department with five new signature restaurants to be added to Doha F&B scene. Jossi brings 15 years of experience in hospitality, having spent the past three years serving in Al Murooj Rotana Dubai. Muller brings with him more than 20 years of fine and exquisite culinary experience from around the world.

Gabriele Ferola has been named Director of Sales. Ferola bring with him the experience of IHG with him as he was the Director of sales for Intercontinental Aphrodite Hills Hotel & Resort in Paphos, Cyprus, where Imene Mrad has been named Director of Human Resources, bringing to Oryx Rotana 10 years of experience in the State of Qatar.
