Six Brands from Landmark Group Honoured as some of UAE's Strongest Brands

Babyshop, Shoe Mart, Splash, Lifestyle, Home Centre and Ecco receive Superbrands Recognition
Dubai, UAE - 25 July 2010: Six brands from the portfolio of Landmark GroupLandmark Group
- one of the largest retail conglomerates in the Middle East -- have been awarded the highly coveted status of Superbrands. Babyshop, Shoe Mart, Splash, Lifestyle, Home Centre and Ecco were all bestowed with the prestigious award for excellence in branding by the UAE Superbrands Council at the annual event to honour UAE's strongest brands. Superbrands is globally recognised as the independent arbiter and authority for exceptional branding. The rigorous assessment and selection criteria for gaining a Superbrand status involved a voting process by the Superbrands council members after which a second stage of voting was carried out by 2,500 marketing professionals. Often referred to as the 'Oscars of branding', only brands with the highest score get the celebrated designation of a Superbrand.
