Dr. Adnan Al Sultan and Yew Meng Fong join Saffar Capital Board of Directors

, a DIFC based regional financial services firm, announced the appointments of Dr. Adnan Al-Sultan, former Chief Investment Manager for Direct Investments of the Kuwait Investment Authority, and Mr. Yew Meng Fong, former Managing Director of HSBC Futures and Managing Director of Deutsche Bank Securities, to its board of directors. With the two appointments, Saffar CapitalSaffar Capital
has expanded its board to five members.
.Dr. Al-Sultan brings to Saffar CapitalSaffar Capital
more than thirty years of financial investment, strategic planning and management experience, including leadership positions in academia, asset management and consulting businesses.
As a non-executive director, Mr. Fong will be responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of the firm. Mr. Fong possesses extensive experience in regulatory, accounting, resource allocation, marketing technology and risk operations, having managed such activities at Deutsche Bank and HSBC Futures. Mr. Fong already serves on the audit committee of Saffar CapitalSaffar Capital
's parent company, Saffar Holdings.
