- Text size
Dubai, UAE, May 16, 2010 - The Arab Business Club announced its plans to attend 'Arabia-Expo 2010.' Scheduled to take place June 7-9, 2010, at Moscow's Crocus International Exhibition Centre, the event is organized by the Russian-Arab Business Council (RABC) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation to explore all potential spheres of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Arab countries.
"There are many individuals and organizations as well as a lot of Arabic people living and operating businesses abroad that are interested in connecting and doing business with the Arab world, and conversely, there are also many Arab businesses looking for business opportunities abroad," commented Hamdan Mohammed, the club's founder and president. "We work to find ways to bring them all together and put them in contact with each other to explore business potentials. Events such as Arabia-Expo 2010 are pivotal in bringing the right people in contact with each other and initiating fruitful discussions - and this is right in line with the mission of the Arab Business Club"
He went on to add, "The global competitive landscape is changing. The Middle East and other emerging economies, like China, India and Russia, have a lot to offer each other - and the rest of the world - in terms of business and investment opportunities. Entrepreneurs and corporations within these countries are actively looking for the chance to do business and expand their operations internationally. We have sent invitations to hundreds of companies and CEOs who are interested finding an entry into the Russian Market, as well as to people who are interested in technology, fuel and energy-related projects, telecommunications, agriculture, water, and so on. By partnering with the Russian/Arab Business council to promote this exhibition, we continue to further our aims and build our credibility as a leading facilitator of cross cultural business relationships."
Arabia-Expo 2010 is supported by the League of the Arab States, General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Arab Countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and several other Russian and Arab ministries and government agencies. The Ninth joint session of the Russian/Arab Chamber of Commerce will be held during the exhibition, and there will be a signing ceremony of bilateral agreements between Arab and Russian parties. Exhibitors at Arabia Expo - 2010 will have the opportunity to benefit from several conferences and round table discussions, join meetings, seminars on presentations on investment in various sectors, and introduce their businesses to other participants from Russian and Arab corporations around the world.
Regina Lamour, Business Development Manager of Arab Business Club for Russia and CIS countries, who will be attending the event, emphasized the club's willingness to assist those who would like to participate, "We are ready to help anyone who is interested in exhibiting their products and offer their services and give them the opportunity to be part of Arabia-Expo 2010 - a prestigious event that we believe will benefit all those involved."
