Arab Bank Appoints Memac Ogilvy & Mather to Manage and Execute Its Communications and Advertising Campaigns in Jordan and the Middle East

Beirut-Lebanon - May 10, 2010: Arab BankArab BankLoading... signed an agreement with Memac Ogilvy & MatherMemac Ogilvy & MatherLoading..., the worldwide leader in marketing communications and creative design. The company will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing media and advertising campaigns and applications of corporate identity of the Bank in Jordan and the Middle East, in accordance with the Bank's vision and strategy towards achieving its objectives at different levels.

In coordination with Arab BankArab BankLoading... management, Memac Ogilvy & MatherMemac Ogilvy & MatherLoading..., winner of the Agency of the Year 2010 award and 26 other awards at the recent Dubai International Advertising Festival, "The Dubai Lynx", initiated and developed the media and advertising strategy for the Bank. The strategy aims at reinforcing the Bank's image and professional value beliefs, highlighting the unique services the Bank provides reflecting its history and established method in providing integrated banking solutions and services on a global level. It will also emphasize the Bank's effective contribution in building the economies of countries through its widespread branches, offices, related subsidiaries, affiliates, and sister companies, and underline its constructive programs and initiatives in the area of social responsibility.

The process of marketing communications, which will be handled by the agency on behalf of the Bank, consists of various marketing tools, including creative graphic design for corporate identity applications and coordination for production and execution in various media and advertising mediums. Memac Ogilvy & MatherMemac Ogilvy & MatherLoading...'s family of companies, which includes Ogilvy Public Relations, will also be responsible for creating and implementing public relations plans and applications in the many branches of traditional, digital and social media, among other functions.
