Bank of Beirut insist that 'There is no better cause than Education'

Bank sponsor Lebanese American UniversityLebanese American UniversityLoading... Alumni Association's fundraising Annual Ball 2010.
The third Annual Ball of the LAU Alumni Association was held at Muscat's Grand Hyatt over the weekend with an aim to raise funds for less fortunate prospective students to study at the University. Bank of BeirutBank of BeirutLoading... sponsored the Event.

Remy Zambarakji, Managing Director of Bank of BeirutBank of BeirutLoading... Oman commented;

"Bank of BeirutBank of BeirutLoading... is proud to come on board again as main sponsors of the Alumni Association's Annual Ball. At the Bank we are strong believers in the importance of education, and as a result we are highly supportive of the work of the University's Alumni Association who organized the event with the aim of ensuring that the issue of money need not be a factor in the pursuit of higher education'.

Guests of the Annual Ball, including the Lebanese Ambassador to Oman; His Excellency Ayoub, and the LAULAULoading... President, Dr Jabbra enjoyed a very entertaining evening.

Carla Khalil, President of the Alumni Association commented on the occasion;

It is also an action of gratitude; a gesture to thank the university who prepared us so well during our education to become successful people in our careers".

Other sponsors of the event included Oman's newest and fastest growing Communications Agency; Talks. The agency, which has a specialist Events department as well as Creative, Media and PR services, provided the stage set-up and event branding.
